1988 Chevrolet Beretta

Top Sportsman, S/C, S/G, Quick 16 or 32.  $ 55,000 turnkey or $ 33,000 less motor and tranny.  11 passes since total disassembly and rebuild!  All new parts, no junk and professionally done.  This is a well built car.

Highly lightened OEM steel roof, quarters and doors, and aftermarket fiberglass nose, deck lid and hood.  Mild steel and moly 25.4 SFI chassis.  Fresh 655 inch PAR motor, wet sump, single four barrel.  Strange struts and brakes on all wheels, Strange aluminum 9 inch Ford rear end with fabricated moly housing, Strange 40 spline gun drilled axles, moly 4-link, moly wishbone, moly anti-roll, double adjustable AFCO rear shocks and new moly wheelie bars.  New double beadlocks with 11 pass Goodyears front and rear.  All new electrical system with K and R Cube, MSD 7AL-3 ignition system, Precision Performance air shifter, new Autometer gauges, new battery, new fuel cell, fuel pump, complete new plumbing, new on board fire system and seat.  All new carbon fiber/anodized aluminum and welded steel interior.  Also all new poly carb windows and custom headers.  Chassis certified by NHRA last month, (4-2015).

This is a very unique car.  It was originally built as a full interior Pro Street Beretta by Jacklin Gebhardt of Gebhart's race cars.  But the current owner wanted to race hard and smart so he brought the car to us for updates.  Upon inspection and discussion it was decided to retain the body with it's Pro Street paint but completely strip the car to bare chassis, media blast the tubing, then update the chassis with numerous tubing and component upgrades to bring it competitively current and top notch.

A year later the results are impressive.  The complete car with all fluids and aluminum block 655, ready race weighed only 2276 lbs, less driver!

The length to which steps were taken to make this car so nice cannot be truly realized on this website.  Full information with detailed pics and descriptions can be shared upon request.
